Ingredients

We are proud to be able to offer truly healthy treats for horses, thats why all our ingredients are listed on our packaging. We want you to be able to see what you
are feeding your muched loved horse and feel good about it!
Black Strap Molasses:
Iron, Potassium, Calcium, Magnesium and B Vitamins.
Sunflower Oil:
Ssupplies more Vitamin E than any other vegetable oil. It is a combination of monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats with low saturated fat levels.
Oats:
The ancestral grain of Scotland! Provides balanced carbohydrates, protein, B-complex and high fiber. Low-gluten, easily digested. Long-burning energy source.
Apple:
Good source of vitamins A, B & C, Calcium and other vital nutrients
Beet Powder:
Horses enjoy the taste of whole beet every bit as much as beet pulp, if not more. Beet root is high in easily fermented fibers, and very potent antioxidants called betalains. While extremely low in calories, beets contain the highest sugar content of almost any vegetable, so we only use small amounts in our treats.
Parsley:
A sprig of his herb contains volatile oil components as well as flavonoids. Both provide unique health benefits. The volatile oil components have shown in animal studies to act as tumor inhibitors and the flavonoids are proven antioxidants. In addition, parsley is an excellent source of Vitamin K, Vitamin C, Vitamin A, and beta-carotene.
Alfalfa: Excellent source of nutritive properties with minerals, chlorophyll and vitamins. Alfalfa is high in chlorophyll and nutrients.
Chamomile Flowers - dried
Chamomile contains high levels of calcium, magnesium and also potassium, iron, manganese and zinc.
Wheatgerm
Wheatgerm is made from the heart of wheat kernels and is rich in digestible protein and low in fibre. It is an excellent source of Vitamins B complex and contains about 10% oil that is rich in Vitamin E. Wheatgerm is rich in Iron and Minerals such as Calcium and Phosphorus and Linoleic Acid.
Carob – No added sugar:
Contains 1/3 the calories of human chocolate, virtually fat free and non-allergenic. Rich in minerals and vitamins such as calcium, phosphorus, iron, potassium, silicon, magnesium vitamins B1, B2, A, niacin, and protein.
Rosemary:
Good source of dietary fiber, iron and calcium. Contains substances that are useful for stimulating the immune system, increasing circulation and improving digestion. Also contains anti-inflammatory compounds.
Honey:
Honey contains small amounts of a wide array of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and antioxidants. The vitamins found in honey may include (depending on floral variety) niacin, riboflavin and pantothenic acid; minerals present include calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium and zinc.
Brewers Yeast:
Brewer's yeast contains all the essential amino acids, 14 minerals, and 17 vitamins. It is one of the best natural sources of the B-complex vitamins thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, B6, pantothenic acid, biotin, and folic acid. It is also high in minerals, including chromium, zinc, iron, phosphorus, and selenium. Brewer's yeast is also a good source of protein. Helps promote healthy skin and coat.
Rice Flour:
Produced by milling the whole rice grain into a fine flour. No further processing or refinement. More nutritious, darker in colour and slightly stronger in flavour.
Sunflower kernals:
good source of potassium and phosphorous.
Aniseed: Known as far back as at least 1500 b.c., this small annual plant is a member of the parsley family. Both the leaves and seed have a distinctive, sweet licorice flavor. Anise seeds have been used as a digestive for centuries. Horse love the small and taste.
Linseed
Flaxseed is unique among feeds because of its high concentration of Omega 3 fatty acids, including alpha-linolenic acid. Horses need a minimum level of key fats to maintain good health. These essential fatty acids are Omega 3 and Omega 6. A horse cannot produce these fats in their body, thus they are an essential part of his diet.
Whole meal flour:
We use stone ground, which means less processing therefore retaining vital nutrients.
Banana Chips
This food is very low in Cholesterol and Sodium. It is also a good source of Manganese. Horses love them, we only use a small amount in our treats.
